The Lloydminster Reapers playoffs begin at home, as the rugby club welcomes the Edmonton Clansmen to the Servus Sports Centre field on Saturday.
Since joining the Edmonton Rugby Union in 2015, the Reapers have finished in the top four in the standings, earning themselves a home playoff game, however, due to scheduling, they had to play last year’s playoff game on the road.
Game time is set for 2 p.m.

The Lloydminster Classic Oilfield Bandits will get back on the ice this weekend as they hold their main tryout camp from Friday until Sunday.
Lloydminster finished in eighth place in the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League (NEAJBHL) last season with a 13-20-2-1 record and were eliminated in the first round of playoffs in four straight games by the Wainwright Bisons.

Lloydminster’s season will start on Sept. 30 when they travel to Cold Lake.
They will open at home on Oct. 8 against the Wainwright Bisons at the Civic Centre.
